Farm and forestry are among the hardest sectors to change for tackling the Earth’s climate crisis, but a new report suggests that they will play a key part in reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

[US], Apr 12 (ANI): A new study suggests that farming and forestry can play key roles in minimizing greenhouse gas emissions.

Despite the fact that energy accounts for the majority of greenhouse gas emissions, agriculture and land use changes account for about 22% of all carbon dioxide emissions.

It is at this interface, land use and humans that the report shows a “strong link between sustainable development, vulnerability and climate risks,” which means that increased effort to build sustainable communities and eradicate extreme poverty could be a major factor in controlling and monitoring the Earth’s overall public health.

For instance, solar and wind are some of the best ways we are fighting climate change.
