India can guide world on climate change: Environment Minister at COP26

Prime Minister Bhupender Yadav said Friday India has put itself in a position enabling it to lead the world in dealing with the crisis of climate change.

“While at the Paris Climate Conference, the Prime Minister had urged the world to increase forest area, decrease carbon emission and encourage alternative sources of energy, at the ongoing COP26 conference in Glasgow, Scotland, he took the pledge of “Panchamrit” Panchamrit “or” Five Nectares,”in India’s battle to combat climate change at the ongoing COP 26 conference in Glasgow, Scotland,” Yadav wrote in his blog COP 26 Diary.

The BJP National Labor Committee compliments the prime minister on a visionary approach to the world and for making India the leading player in the fight against climate change, he wrote on his blog.

Previously, the ISA, the Indian presidency of ISA and the UK ‘s COP presidency presented plans for the first international network of integrated global solar power networks, the Green Grids Initiative, at the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow.

They attended a support meeting organized by the International Solar Alliance (ISA) on Thursday and said this emphasized the Prime Minister’s vision.

“We need to return to the sun in order to save the earth,” he argued, stressing “we must return to the Sun to save the Earth. As the world progresses to achieve newer heights economically and socially, solar energy will power the transition.”

The announcement was accompanied by a statement supported by 83 ISA member countries.
