An emergency evacuation order was imposed on Solano County as firefighters battled a grass fire near Vacaville.

The Quail Fire had scorched at least 110 acres in mountainous terrain and started moving toward houses when the evacuation order was issued by Solano County emergency managers, according to Cal Fire.

An evacuation warning is in place for residents of the Pleasants Valley Road from Quail Canyon Road north to Highway 128 and west of Pleasants Valley Road to the county limits, Solano County officials said.

That’s a legitimate order to leave now.

Napa County’s OES said traffic on Highway 128, the Napa County line, might slow.

There weren’t immediate reports of injuries or damage to buildings.
