Wildfires have been spreading in Colorado.
FEMA offering help for fire victims
Two people are still missing in Boulder County, Colorado while authorities work to assess the damage caused by a devastating wildfire whose cause is still under investigation.
The fire has destroyed almost 1.000 homes in Boulder County, according to authorities.
In nearby Superior, 12 shops were damaged.
Crews had been searching for a woman and a man from the nearby community of Marshall while searching for the missing.
Efforts to establish the cause of the fire are adding to the challenges facing Colorado authorities after heavy snow pounded suburbs set on fire by the Marshall Fire over the weekend.
While houses burned to the ground smoulder in some areas, the fire is once seen as a mere threat during the frigid temperatures and blankets of snow that dropped on Saturday.
That barn is the initial source of the Marshall Fire, I'm at the stop light between S Foothill Highway (H 93), Marshall road and Eldorado Springs road. There is no fire beyond this point towards the west side. (11:30AM)#Boulder #Marshall #fire #ClimateEmergency #BreakingNews pic.twitter.com/OFB8hnkAGC
