This planet is the planet’s 2.7 degree humidity, higher than pre-industrial levels, according to research in a report by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change on worldwide emissions.
An August report said global temperatures had already reached 1.2 degrees warmer than the pre-invasion levels.
Researchers call for a 45 percent reduction in emissions for 2030 to be carbon neutral by halfway through the century.
According to the countries’ current emissions obligations, emissions will rise by 16 per cent by 2030 compared to the 2010 level.
General António Guterres also appealed to industrialized countries to keep the promise made decades ago of a hundred billion dollars to help developing countries meet their commitments.
The @UNFCCC report shows we are breaking the #ParisAgreement promise to keep global heating to 1.5°C.
We can still achieve that target, but are almost out of time. We need real ambition & cooperation to win the race against the climate crisis. https://t.co/dxPD60jQh8 pic.twitter.com/Z1EWVA1aga
