Temperatures will rising in the coming week due to hot weather shifting north from Spain and may well be hitting the 30s, the Met Office has said.

After a storm hit the northwest of Britain over the weekend, there is forecast to be another north-south divide with heavy rain and high winds, reports the Mirror.

Those which live further north experience uncomfortable weather, with rain and wind gusts.

“If the weather worsens next week, the short answer,” said Aidan McGivern, the presenter of the Met Office,”Will the weather warm up next week then the short answer is yes in many places. Will it be a heatwave, will it be a headline grabbing scorcher, well the less exciting answer is that it is simply too early to tell,”

Light showers may be possible across Wales and central England on Saturday morning, but Brits can enjoy some fine weather for the rest of the weekend.
