Young climate change opponents in the Highlands will be taking part in demonstrations next month protesting for more action on the climate crisis to tackle it.
The 95-year-old monarch will attend the event, which was supposed to be held in November last year but was delayed because of the Covid pandemic.
The Scotland branch of Greta Thunberg founded the international youth movement, which has also held events in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is due to attend the COP26 summit alongside U.S. President Joe Biden and some 120 heads of the world community.
Dylan Hamilton, 17, of West Lothian, said: “Scotland is not following the current science, we are using far more than our fair share of emissions to stay in line with the Paris Agreement.
