Edgewood Fire: San Mateo County blaze now 20 acres in size, 20% contained, CAL FIRE says; evacuation orders lifted

Cal Fire said around 5: 5 a.m. the Edgewood Fire in San Mateo County is 20 acres largely contained.
Firefighters initially battled two fires in the Edgewood Road and Crestview Drive area at just after 2: 20 p.m., and the California Highway Patrol said smoke could be seen from Interstate Highway 280.
California Highway Patrol reported smoke could be seen coming from Interstate Highway 280.
Evacuations were ordered in areas that include RZE003 and RWC-E002

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office tweeted that an Evacuation and Resettlement Center has been set up at Cañada College Theater.
The Edgewood blaze was moving eastward toward Canada Road and Interstate 280, and a fire department official with the San Mateo County Fire Scanner said at 3: 40 p.m. that they were ‘impacts on 280 soon’
