During a speech to the UN in New York City, a talking computer-generated dinosaur warned of the need for mankind to take action not to eradicate itself as a result of climate change, in a bizarre scene recorded in a video from the United Nations Development Programme.
The famous Hall, known for the prestigious speeches delivered by the world’s leaders, is full of bemused diplomats and dignitaries.
“The D.I.D.’s Don’t Choose Extinction campaign and movie seek to shed a spotlight on fossil fuel subsidies and how they kill off important advances in stopping climate change and enhance inequality by helping the wealthy,” the statement said.
We can no longer ignore the climate crisis.
It's time to stop making excuses and start making changes!
