President, Joe Biden, visited California Monday to show off his efforts to better protect the state from the raging wildfires that have burned more than 2 million hectares of land, displaced thousands and driven aid workers to the brink of depletion.

President Joe Biden on Monday used his first swing west in office to blame the region’s wildfires for his $3.5 trillion reconstruction plan, and referred to it as a year-round wildfires and other extreme weather, the realities of climate change that our nation has longer ignored.

“ignore the reality that these wildfires are being supercharged by climate change,”Joe Biden

He added that the administration and our nation “ignore the reality that these wildfires are being supercharged by climate change,”

Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are working to put the specifics of the infrastructure plan together and how to pay for it, something not only Republicans worry over.

“We have to act more rapidly and more firmly and more broadly than today,”Joe Biden

“We have to move faster, more decisively as well as more comprehensively than we have today,” Biden told a small crowd that had gathered at the California governor’s office for emergency services.

We know what needs to be done.
